Shrook is a free, downloadable RSS reader that arranges the information vertically, from left to right: Source, Channel, Item, Preview. The preview pane has a Show Web Page button on it. When you press it, Shrook expands that window pane to give you more viewing room and removes the Source and Channel panes. To return to the 4-column view, you click on the Collapse button in the upper right.
Shrook also allows you to synchronize from Mac to Mac through their website. (Note from Barry: I syncronized by work and home Macs for a while, but found it too confusing; it may not have been working correctly).
As with many of these readers, subscribing is as easy as dragging the little RSS, XML, or Atom symbol from a web site to the Library, which is the first item under Source.
